Welcome to your first visit with Generations Dental Care.
When you arrive at Generations Dental Care, you will be warmly greeted at the door by our office manager or other team member. Shortly after, you will be introduced to your hygienist. She will go through your dental history with you and you can let her know of any oral discomfort you have been experiencing. She will then take x-rays and examine your periodontal health (the health of your gums). She will then discuss with you any treatment that may be suggested to help your gums be healthy.
For an average, healthy smile, your teeth will then be cleaned and Dr. Cummiskey will check for any problems with your teeth. If your gums need extra attention and care, your teeth cleaning may be done at the following appointment. Plan to be at this first visit for about an hour and fifteen minutes.
