When talking about Dr. William Cummiskey and his practice, there is one word that comes up more than any other—family. Patients repeatedly say that he treats them like family.

When you meet Dr. Cummiskey, or “Dr. Bill” as his team and patients refer to him, he will make you feel like you are a new addition to his family. He has a sense of humor and patients love him for his ability to make you feel comfortable when going to the dentist may not be a comfortable thing.

Victoria, a hygienist at his office, sums Dr. Cummiskey up well, “Dr. Bill is a knowledgeable, caring, and conservative dentist.” You won’t feel pressured to get any more dental care than you need.

With Dr. Cummiskey you can have your cake and eat it too. He is caring and gentle, yet has experience and training to provide the best care for you. He received his bachelor’s degree from Rockford College in Illinois and earned his dental degree from the University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association and has completed postgraduate training for restoration and implant dentistry, as well as sedation dentistry.

Although he studied in the Midwest, Dr. Cummiskey is originally from New York and loves the Northeast because he loves having access to the ocean. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family at home—his wife, Andrea, his daughters, Veronica and Lila, and his son, Daniel. He enjoys soccer, skiing, golfing, and coaching his kids’ teams.
